Professors Francis Abramson and Marcelo Herz began their martial arts journeys in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. After decades of training, competing and teaching students of all ages, they moved to Miami in 2017 to open Rilion Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Doral under the guidance of Master Rilion Gracie.

Marcelo began training at 15 in Rio de Janeiro and went on to train full time with the legendary Carlson Gracie team. A World Champion and Pan-American medalist, he is a 6th degree black belt with decades of competition and teaching behind him.

Francis started martial arts at age seven and earned his Judo black belt under Sensei George Mehdi and his BJJ black belt under Francisco “Toco” Albuquerque. Over 15 years he taught more than 700 students in Rio de Janeiro, with seminars across the Americas and Europe.

Natasha began her Jiu-Jitsu journey in Miami in 2015 and has been part of the Rilion Gracie Doral team since 2021. A No-Gi World Champion and multi-time World Master and Pan-American medalist, she teaches both kids and adults.
